What materials does Mizodia use for its jewelry?Updated 6 days ago

At Mizodia we care a lot about high-quality, hard-wearing materials, so you can wear your piece not only on special occasions but every day.

Stainless steel with 18k gold plating (white gold, gold, rose gold)

A large part of our jewelry is made from high-quality stainless steel and is then finished with 18k gold plating in white gold, gold or rose gold. Stainless steel is particularly sturdy, scratch-resistant and kind to your skin, which makes it ideal for everyday wear. For the plating we use carefully selected materials, so your piece keeps its shine for as long as possible.

925 sterling silver: plain or gold-plated

We also carry selected pieces in 925 sterling silver. It is a classic in the jewelry world and stands out for its high-quality look and timeless elegance. Some of these designs are also available 18k gold-plated: in the color option ‘gold’, the silver then carries a layer of gold.

Important for care: a silver polishing cloth belongs on plain sterling silver only. On gold-plated silver and on gold-plated steel it would rub the gold layer away — a soft, dry cloth is all you need there.

Solid gold (333 and 585)

If you prefer a particularly fine material that holds its value, we also offer selected designs in solid gold, depending on the product in 8K gold (333) or 14K gold (585). These versions are especially durable and make a wonderful gift, or a piece to keep for life.

Good to know: the material of your chosen product is always listed on the product page itself, under the product details.
